A Note from the Founder
April 13, 2026 – Barbora Calaba
Since childhood, I’ve always loved swimming—being in the water, feeling completely free, weightless, and (sometimes) present.
My mother managed a Czech-Italian travel agency, and thanks to her work, I was fortunate to spend many summers along the Italian coast. Those days shaped me in ways I only fully understand now. I was doing what I loved most—swimming—but I was also quietly observing something else.
The beauty.
The atmosphere.
The sprezzatura.
That effortless, nonchalant elegance of Italian women captivated me.
Their wardrobes fascinated me just as much as the sea itself. The way they moved through the day—changing looks from morning to afternoon to evening with such ease. On those beaches, style was a ritual.
You wouldn't catch an Italian woman dead wearing the same swimsuit all day long. Or to be more accurate. She wouldn't be caught dead wearing the same bikini after lunch.
No, no, no.
And—God forbid—arriving at dinner looking anything less than impeccable. :)
Today, I find myself returning to those memories through my work.
At Marezza, I design with Italian regenerated nylon fabrics—materials that honor both beauty and responsibility. Each piece is created to sculpt and support a woman’s silhouette, while echoing the elegance of nature through soft florals and organic elements.
One piece, in particular, holds a special place in my heart:
The Isola Bella Bustier Push-up Swimsuit in Passiflora.
It embodies everything I believe swimwear should be. It gently compresses and sculpts where it matters, enhances and lifts the most beautiful part of a woman’s body—the bosom—and embraces the figure with precision. The fit is secure and flattering, designed to reveal just enough, never too much, and always with intention.
Summer is just around the corner.
I wish you days filled with sunlight, beauty, and inspiration—moments where you feel your most confident, elegant self, whether by the sea or simply dreaming of it.
With love,
Barbora ❤️
